Hi! I’m Laura - the face painter behind Like A Magpie Face Painting. I’ve been painting happy faces for over 15 years — and I still love seeing the moment someone looks in the mirror and smiles.

I’m fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS certificate, and use professional, skin-safe products. My style is friendly, calm, and flexible, which makes a big difference when working with children and busy events.

Alongside face painting, I also run an eco glitter bar using biodegradable glitter — perfect for adults who want to join the fun while being kind to the planet.

Whether it’s a small party or a large event, I take pride in creating a relaxed, joyful experience for everyone involved.
